It's true that I'm not one of those people who sits and takes pictures of their food when it arrives at a restaurant but I couldn't help but do it at Island Plantation Resort. Whether it was the pancakes with fresh coconut or pizza made in the traditional wood-fired oven, you will want to eat a lot during your stay. And if you get thirsty, which of course you will, the bar is fully stocked with any tropical cocktail you can think of.

The best part is that while you're enjoying the afternoon on the beach, you can order your pizza without getting up and it'll be brought to you 15 minutes later. It doesn't get any better than that!

Dinner choices are amazing, and thanks to the lack of caesar salads available in North America because of that romaine lettuce scare, I HAD to have a salad here. And because chicken is my absolute favourite -- and white wine -- how could I pass those up for my first dinner at Island Plantation?
