The historic canal
The Panama Canal. We've all heard of it. We all know it's that boat place, right? But there's such an incredible history and story that goes along with this legendary waterway. Speaking of water, while on the way to the Miraflores locks for a tour, Panama City experienced a harsh downpour of rain. It seemed fitting that water was everywhere as we arrived. Don't worry, for the tour you don't get wet at all. First, you watch a quick movie about the canal's creation.

FROM JB:
As you walk through the museum you see artefacts, displays and interactive features to give you a better understanding of the significance the canal has for cargo needing to get all over the world. It's interesting to see how planning and construction happened and sad to know how many lives were lost because of illness during the original creation of the canal. The tour of the museum really takes you back and makes you think about how much technology has changed since 1914. Construction has come a long way.
